They're antique from early 1900's. I've had these appraised years ago and was told by the appraiser that they were in Baroque style around 1910 or so. They're stuffed with horse hair. The upholstered was done I believe sometimes in the 60's. I have had them cleaned is why at the bottom it shows water stains. One chair as some marks from being scratched on the back spindle. This could be repaired. They're a quite sturdy set. Nice to find four together like this. The fabric does show some stains but overall they're great and can be used as is or easily recovered. I believe the wood is walnut. I cannot remember exactly. They're solid. Very comfortable.
